Do not let anyone limit you to a collective identity; your individuality is essential to growth and development; you must face your own challenges head-on. And yes, you may ask for help when needed, but understand that help isn’t owed to you – take any afforded as a kind favour – which you will be willing to return whenever possible.
Leaders, especially those wanting to affect their followers negatively, know that segregating certain groups makes it easier to control those groups. Survival depends on your ability to endure natural, social, and at times political challenges… shying away from these challenges may ensure a level of survival that you might not want to accept because of its detriment to your legacy.
